How to add spot elevations to LiDAR powerlines

We're doing corridor mapping using LiDAR (45ppm) and photography (3.8cm GSD). We need to identify spot elevations of power-lines at crossings with other power-lines and those power-lines at their connections to poles. Is there a way to partially automate this work?
