Export polygon to DWG as a 2D line

When I export an area feature (polygon) in Global Mapper to a DWG it generates a 3D polyline in the drawing. The polygon in global mapper doesn't have any elevation data. Is it possible to export it as a 2d line so I don't have to convert it in autocad each time.
