Content decoding has failed
Having and issue when trying to download world imagery data, getting the following message:
Error downloading data tile
World Imagery [https://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Imagery/MapServer/tile/16/24436/16619.jpg]
Content decoding has failed
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

There is another thread about this at https://www.globalmapperforum.com/discussion/16600/error-message-imagery and it seemed like the issue was fixed for most users, but we do still have some reporting issues again.
It seems there is a WMTS source available now that is working for users. I will try switching to that and see if it works.
Note that this issue only seems to be happening in some parts of the world.

I have updated the World Imagery (and other ESRI) sources to use WMTS servers. Try closing and re-opening Global Mapper and see if the sources work for you now.

Thank you very much. The work around from the other post worked for us, and I've just tried World Imagery again this morning and it is working again now too.
