Volume calculation issues
I'm wanting a volume between two surfaces, but I'm getting very different results. I start by using the compare terrain layers. Then taking that surface, calculating a cut and fill. This surface from the compare terrain function now has a base elevation of 0. When using above ground (takes forever) I get cut and fill numbers very close to each other with a minuscule net volume. Do the same cut and fill using above sea level and the results are what I'd expect. Using the measured volume between surfaces renders results almost identical to sea level cut and fill calculation. I saw one reference to this and support said it had been fixed. This was GM version 14 though and I'm using 18. Any ideas?

Just forget I asked that lol. Areas that dip below 0 will be fill. Not the case between the two surfaces lol.
