clipping a raster by elevation value
Hi,
is it possible to view and export a subset of a geotiff file by specifying a particular elevation value range, eg z between 0 - 0.2 and not all z values
thanks in advance
Answers
-
- Double-click the layer containing the elevation data (or right-click > Options)
- Go to the Alter Elevation Values tab
- Enter your values in the Valid Elevation Range (i.e. 0 in Minimum and 0.2 in Maximum)
- OK
- Export the layer
If you need to restore the elevation ranges go back to its original state, go to the same tab and hit the Restore Default Elevation Range
