Shift Layer (image) by screen pick.
I have points shot in by the field crew. I want to align an aerial photo which is slightly mis-aligned to the points by using a basic 1 point shift. I normally use measure to get an azimuth and distance, write that down, then use the right-click SHIFT command to shift the image.
Is there a simpler point to point by screen pick to shift the image? Similar to AutoCAD MOVE command or similar?

I just wanted to add my own voice to this request since I don't think there's an option for it in GM.
I'd love to be able to place imagery in Global Mapper the same way we do in CAD. Use the MOVE command to move an image to a point, then have the option to rotate and scale to a 2nd point (-not- rubber sheet).

I'd like something like the AutoCAD MOVE command too DerrckW! Being able to move or rotate any layer or selection using basepoints (reference points) would be very useful.
Howdy, Stranger!
