Map elevation data to sphere/ellipsoid?

Hi all,

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but can I export elevation data as a mesh which is mapped to a sphere/ellipsoid such as the Earth?

If so, is there a specific projection I should be using?

    You can use File -> Export Elevation to export a DXF 3D Face file and that includes an option to export as ECEF coordinates.
