Merge CSV file to shapefile attributes.

Is it possible to merge my CSV file with a shapefile I have loaded?

Both files have a NAME attribute to link them.

I'd rather not type several dozen attributes by hand.

    Yes

    Go to the Overlay Control Center, select the shapefile layer, right click and select the "Join Table" option, then select the CSV file and then the corresponding joining fields (NAME).

    You can then write out a shapefile with the attributes included if that is helpful to you.
