Pyramiding of large LiDAR data
I don't have the GM LiDAR module, but am interested in purchasing it. But before I do, I want to know if GM pyramids (dynamic resampling / scalability for easy viewing) the LiDAR data to allow for smooth interaction and manipulation of very large LiDAR point clouds? My area is over 2700sqkm and my point density is 10pts/sqm, so my files are very large. I don't want my point cloud permanently thinned - it must just be for viewing purposes. Thanks!
