Elevation data outside selected area

Hi

Can you tell me what is happing here.

I created a map catalog of 4 las files download from Queensland Government ( which I have done a thousand times). Created boundary area feature selected it then attempted to create an elevation grid.

I have never seen this happen when I grid lidar before. Why are there points outside the crop area?. The below is from ver21.1. I also tried in ver 22.1 and had the same result

    That does not seem right. I suggest that you contact Blue Marble Support directly via email (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com) to address this issue. Please included a detailed description of your workflow, including the screen captures you posted here, and sample data (catalog file, lidar data, etc.) that can be used to reproduce the problem. Thank you.
