Hi everyone, need some help, I'm using GMv20 and had problems with the projection
I have DWG files that contain 7 digit BRSO (Borneo) WGS84, and want to convert to Geographic (Lat/Long) so that I can use in Google Earth (GE), problem arise when I convert to Geographic because the default BRSO in GM is only 6 digits and the results in GE is projected very far away. At the right bottom GM stated as the coordinate is out of range.
Please advise & thank you.

Hi CarrickCon, somehow I cannot attach the file, I only can upload the JPEG

Try zipping it and then upload it.

Attach the DWG file

Hi Herdypear,
Yep I see your problem.
First you need to select all your line and area vectors and use MOVE/RESHAPE FEATURE(s) and then SHIFT command and apply -2,000,000 m and -5,000,000 m to the Easting and Northings respectively. Then re-project as Geographic. (I'm assuming you know how to re-project - please re-post if not).
See attached screen grabs.
Cheers,

You are most welcome Herdypear! Coincidentally I worked in that part of Borneo in the early 2000's and know it well...
