Override projection with header

If I have a LAS file with projection information in the header, is there a way to override that so that when you open it, it will still bring up the select projection dialog?  I have the wrong projection in the header and I need it to load with a different projection

    Hello,

    After you load the file, you can use the layer options to change the projection to the correct one and save a workspace. You can also change the global projection, and export a new file. The exported file will contain the correct projection.

    But there is no way to override the load behavior so that it prompts for a projection even though there is a projection definition in the file. Can you get the source of the data to fix it?
