Color points by elevation

I can color points by elevation by setting the style, however when the points are closely spaced you just see the black boundaries of the 'dots' style.

Is there a way to get rid of the dot style boundary so you get a nice display when the dots are closely spaced?

Is there a way to color dot elevation from a color table?

Otherwise is there a way of importing as lines and displaying the lines easily with color by elevation, without breaking them up into segments? This is tedious and should not really be required IMO .

    Hello,

To get rid of the dot style boundary, choose <CUSTOM DOT SHAPE> for the point style and choose a size in pixels.

To color elevation from a color table, choose Apply Styling Based on Attribute/Name Values and choose ELEVATION for the attribute name. Then add values and colors to the List of Values.

    Cheers,
