Low res BROWSE.jpg convert

I recently had to download some images off digital globe via their archive catalog. And I’m noticing it’s packaged up a lot different once you have it downloaded. I’m specifically talking about the low res BROWSE file which usually comes in the TIFF format. These are what I need to work with 

Can anyone help me out and tell me how I can convert this jpg file to a TIFF and retain the geo references. Because when I just simply converted it from a jpg to TIFF it would not open inside global mapper because it did not have any geo intel associated with it I’m assuming.
