Generating cross-track slope shader
Hello brainy people
I have a DTM loaded in Global Mapper representing the seabed, together with a polyline along it representing a subsea cable. I'd like to shade the DTM based on the cross-slope value (i.e. the slope perpendicular to the cable). I've absolutely no idea how to do this. Can anybody help???
Many thanks
Rob

You would have to find a way of generating perpendicular lines along your primary line, attach bathy grid values to those lines.
