Elements missing in PDF export

I have used the " export PDF fille..." option from the file menu to export my maps for many years, however since loading V21.1 the elements I commonly include, i.e. Scale bar, north arrow and legend are missing from the map output, although they are loaded an visible on screen. I have tried including these elements in the map layout editor, and they are included if I generate the PDF file from there, but this is a far more complex method opposed to simply exporting the PDF file from the file menu.
What can I do to ensure the elements I use are included in the PDF export directly from the file menu?

    This is a bug that has been fixed. Please download and install the latest daily build. After that, if you are still having problems, I suggest you contact Blue Marble Support directly via email (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com). Please include a detailed description of your problem, including a workspace and data that can reproduce the problem, and a screen capture of any options you use. Thank you.
