Just finished a webinar on this method of addressing coordinates. Apparently is starting to be used extensively in the UK and becoming increasingly popular.

    How do you see that being used in Global Mapper? What is the use case?

    The use case is that it is an alternate coordinate location that several other companies are rolling into their software and devices. Apparently new Ford and Mercedes navigation systems use it. Avenza and Garmin are incorporating as an alternate method of specifying location. Thus, it would be useful for Global Mapper to speak that coordinate system as well.
