Exporting layers into individual files
I imported (drag and drop) a large dataset of individual ASCII files and did a Calculate/ Copy Attribute Values to add an offset to the Z data.
I want to now save/export each of these files to ASCII files again without having to right-click on each layer individually. I've looked at batch convert and it doesn't export the modified Z value.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not sure how to split up an export like that when exporting to ASCII or CSV jaja, but could you export them all out as a Shapefile and split them up by layer name, then use the batch convert option to convert all of the shapefiles back to simple ascii file?

I will try that and see...tanks Derrick

Using scripting is the only reasonable way to do this. Check the Layer looping functions here:
