Amount of 3d points when "Sort poorly organized point cloud on import" is activated on import

Hello,

I noticed that with some las files, when importing with the option "Sort poorly organized point cloud on import" is checked,

the number of points differs is source file and in globalmapper view ( actually, less then the file really contains). It seems that some points on some edge of the file are left out. What should be the reason? v20.0.0(b092518)(25)(64-bit)(+LIDAR).
