KML file not recognised in DJI Map Pilot
I have exported a KML file and when I load it into DJI Map Pilot my simple vector polygon isn’t recognised.
The GM project is have was in GDA94 MGA55 format and I changed the project settings and the polygon to Geographic WGS84 as that is what Map Pilot uses.
I can create a KML from Google Earth and that works fine.

Kcross, this happens to me occasionally as well. The main problems are usually exporting a 3D polygon OR exporting more than one polygon to a single KMZ/KML. I think that turning on the "Extrude areas..." option causes problems often times as well.
When I have this issue, I'll usually open up my KML in google earth and save it back down from there, then upload to the flight planning software. -
Hello @kcross,
I suggest that you contact Blue Marble Support directly via email (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com) to address this issue. Please included the data you used when you exported the KML and a screen capture of the export settings. This will help the support team reproduce the problem, and expedite a solution.
Cheers,
Bob
