SDK-based extension not being registered for all users

We have an GM SDK-based extension that we use with the standard GM application. However, recent versions of GM don't seem to allow the installation of the extension to be registered for all users - while the installation of GM is registered for all users. We need assistance in how to register the installation of our extension for all users on a workstation.

    Is this something that worked in earlier versions of Global Mapper? If so, what is the latest version where it worked and what version are you using now?
    How are you trying to register the extension for all users? What is the result (error message, etc.)?
