DGN (V8)

Hello,
I use GlobalMapper (v20.1.2). When I open a dgn file (v8) including only area features, a layer with line features appears in the legend of GM. If I convert the dgn file to file version 7 within Bentley MicroStation and open the dgn again, GM displays correctly the area features. Is this a bug in GlobalMapper v20.1.2?

    Hello,

    It appears that DGN files are handled a bit differently in Global Mapper depending on whether they are v7 or v8 files, and that may be producing the result you are seeing. I suggest that you contact Blue Marble Support directly via email (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com). Please include a detailed description of your work flow and both the v7 and v8 versions of your data.
