3D Polyline by Slope on Surface

I would like to draw a polyline that follows a specified slope/grade along a surface. Is there any way of doing this in GM?

If no tool is available, does anybody have suggestions for a script approach.

I would try this:

1.  Load surface in GM

2. File>Export>Export Elevation Grid format>Float/Grid file

3. Tick the "Export slope values instead of elevations"

4. Export slope map

5. Reload slope map

6. Use the contour tool to draw the line at your desired slope
