XYZ Sort Feature in Global Mapper

Can we sort XYZ file in Global Mapper, say to a file with 25m, 50m etc spacing from unsorted data; which is also can be exported to a separate XYZ file?

You can import the entire file and then export out to a lidar format, splitting the export by "selected area features", with those area features being a grid at the desired spacing. I'm not sure if this is an option when exporting to XYZ, but you could export to LAZ first, re-import, and export each LAZ back out as XYZ.  

You can import the entire file and then grid it at your desired spacing, using keep highest/keep lowest/average settings.
