There are not any plans for adding support for special input devices for the 3D viewer. The 3D viewer is open source for Global Mapper, so if anyone wants to download it from http://www.globalmapper.com/developer/GlobalMapper_3DViewerSource.zip and add their own source to support that is welcome.
