I have a village shape file in one country, I want to split or separate the shapefile into the village shapefile category. Anyone knows?

Hello,

It sounds like you want to split an export based on an attribute value. To do this:

1. Load your data into Global Mapper
2. Choose File | Export | Export Vector/Lidar Format... and select Shapefile from the list of formats.
3. On the Shapefile Export Options screen, use the list next to "Split Export Based On:" to choose the attribute you want to use to split your data.
