distance units from meters to feet

well here is what probably has a simple solution that I cannot for the life of me figure out...I can't change my distance units from meters to feet, and its driving me nuts! My projection is State Plane USfeet, I can change the elevation units, just not the distance.

any direction very much appreciated!

    Hello,

    Where is it that you are trying to change your distance units from meters to feet? Are you trying to change the units on your projection, or the units that Global Mapper uses to display information, or something else? What version of Global Mapper are you using?

    In the current version, to change the units on the current projection, use the Configuration dialog, Projection tab and choose from an entry in the Planar Units list. To change the units used for display, use the Configuration dialog, General | Measure/Units tab, and change the unit(s) that you care about (area, volume, distance, etc.).

    bmg_bob, thank you! I figured it was something simple I was overlooking. I futz around in the configuration dialog too long not to find that. It was the general --> measure -->distance options...that I needed.
