Elevation data and building data

Hi
I have elevations data, which I made a elevation grid from, and it works like a charm.
But I have a new layer only with buildings, and the buildings elevation attributes.
Now my big question is:
How can a make a new elevatation grid, so the new grid have included the height of the buildings?
