    Hello,

The data in the World Imagery online data source is provided by Esri. Blue Marble Geographics has no control over the data. For more information, right-click on the World Imagery entry in the data source list and choose "Display Source Web Page/Terms of Service".

    Cheers,

Also worth noting that World Imagery, Bing maps and Google maps all use separate imagery - although there is occasionally overlap between them. So if you want the most up-to-date imagery, it is worth checking all three. Also be aware that what looks like aerial photography in Google Earth (the program) is draped multi-point photography over 3D data in many major cities and surrounding areas (depending whetre you are in the world). So even that will look different to - and potentially more recent than - 2D imagery loaded from "Google Maps".
