How can i combine Contour lines from different layers

Hie all
I have downloaded  2 STRMs  from Earth explorer and generated contour lines using Global Mapper.So my question is how can i combine these contour lines to have them in one layer

Select the digitizer tool. Then right-click on one of the layers, click "SELECT: Select all features...". That should select all the features on that layer. Then right-click on the map and choose "EDIT". In the dialog box that opens, change the layer to the one with the other contours. That will put them both on the selected layer.
