DEM joints visable

After upgrading to V20 I noticed that the edges between two DEMs are now visible, If I open the same file in V17 and V18 they are not visible. Just curious if anyone else has had this experience.

Yes, we experienced this too. It actually happens also in the latest versions of V19.
It also happens when flattening a part of a DEM and while using slope shader , so it becomes hard to see if the borders are actually steep slopes or it is just an effect of this.
