How can I show slope?

I use drones to collect data over a forested area for a lumber mill.
This particular mission was meant to assess the slope of this proposed area, so the mills know what machinery to prescribe.

I managed to create a bare earth DEM and loaded it onto Global Mapper. And I have been trying to figure out the best way to present the data to the client. 

They originally thought they could do the work in house. But apparently they don't know how to use the data. If I can figure out how to present the data they need, then I could get a lot more work.

Any help would be appreciated!
