Need help creating a small, local coordinate system

Good morning everyone,

We have terrestrial LiDAR scans of sports stadiums, and are looking to create local relative coordinate systems for each one (us survey ft). For baseball stadiums, we would like the origin 0,0,0 to be the tip of home plate. The x-axis needs to align with the line running from home plate to right field pole, and y-axis going straight through 2nd base. Positive z being up.

Looking for the most effective way of doing this. I'm thinking of just creating a shift using the coordinates of home plate, then applying a rotation until the axis aligns with the features I mentioned above. I'm not really confident/comfortable that this is the best way to do this.

This would be done at quite a few stadiums, so any help would be much appreciated!
