Export style to SLD file or QGIS qml file
I'm interested to know how to export a style file like QGIS qml or SLD format from Global Mapper? I know GM does a wonderful job of importing files like Mapinfo .tab files with style preserved, and it can export these. However I'm interested in writing the style itself so it can be picked up by QGIS, which cannot seem to read the stye information in the .tab files

Hello,
Double-click on your layer in the Control Center to bring up the Vector Options window. Choose the appropriate style tab (point, line, or area) depending on the type of data you are using. There will be a button on the screen to save the layer style information to an SLD file.
Cheers,
Bob
