Is there a way to reset the specify sample count/spacing distance?
I have accidentally set my sample count to a number that causes the program to crash, and want to be able to reset it to default without having to first generate a path profile.

Hello,
You will need to edit the registry. Browse to key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Global Mapper", and delete the values "PathProfile_SpacingCount" and "PathProfile_SpacingDist". This will reset the settings to their defaults.
Note that I tested this with Global Mapper 19. If you are using an earlier version, it is possible that these registry values may not be in use. I think they have been around for several versions, at least, though.
Cheers,
Bob
