Auto Cad retaining Layers at Export
I have several layers from shape files. I export to AutoCad...but the layer names are not present. It combines them all into 'unknown line layer and unknown point layer and unknown area layer. How do I preserve the separate layers and names so that I can work on them separately in autoCad

Figured it out. When exporting in EXPORT > VECTOR LIDAR format - choose layer types pull down menu where the layer names match the layer names exported to CAD
