Unable to get Google Earth link to work

I am still having problems getting the GM Google Earth link to work. Regardless of the toggle selection area (ie. screen or a selected polygon) I get nothing. The Metadata box is displayed below.

If I select a polygon and toggle to Google Earth link to restrict the area to the polygon I get this error:

I am using the latest Daily Build (19.0.3). I have uninstalled all earlier versions of GM from my machine, have rebooted in an attempt to eliminate any conflicts possible with earlier version installs. BTW I do have Google Earth Pro installed on my machine. Not sure if this would be an issue or conflict with GM.
