Exporting Points to KMZ all Same Color

In version 17, when you exported points styled as round dots color coded by an attribute to KMZ the formatting was correct in Google Earth, In version 18 & 19, all of the points come out the same color. Is this a known issue? This issue has been tested on several data sets with repeatable results.
