dwg import version

Hi. Using GM 12.0 (I know) and am trying to import dwg files produced by Autocad. GM reports incorrect dwg version. Does anybody know what version I must ask my draftsman to produce? Here's the GM error message:

Unknown error loading DWG file: C:\155ADuke\drawings\Chris\DWG\BoB dwg-Floor Plan - Level Two.dwg

Invalid Dwg Version

DWGOverlay.cpp - 186

Version: v12.02

Build Time: May 12 2011 00:52:07

I don't know when GM 12.0 was released but GM was first release in 2001 - therefore you should save down to AutoCAD 2001/LT2000 or earlier to ensure no compatibility issues with your dusty version of GM! As a rule of thumb I always save down to AutoCAD R12 for sharing purposes unless I'm using more modern AEC objects.
