Will a version of GM that will let me edit strike and dip data, as points, without locking up?

I posted and a bug a few weeks ago. I am still unable to select a strike and dip point and edit as a point. It generates an error (in the first post), and the software locks up until I Escape out. I notice the bug was active in the first version of GM v. 18. and remains so in the daily builds. I have opened the project in v. 17 and, aside from errors generated due because it can't handle features of v. 18, the strike and dips can be opened as points.
