How Recover workspace file (.gmw)

Dear Admin,

First I worked with global mapper ver12.02, after that I change to another device with global mapper ver17.
After I loaded my workspace in global mapper ver17, I lost almost my data before, so I turned to ver12.02 again (I cut my data before). finally i got "ERROR: The encoded data did not have an end line".

could you help me for this problems?
