Issues using vertical datum NAVD88(USsurveyft) for use in LiDAR data

Hello GM community ,

I seem to be having issues projecting a LiDAR project in global mapper (we have the lidar module + geocalc). Our data was exported in NAD83 TX / North Central / Geoid12A (which uses the NAVD88 us survery ft. as its vertical datum). But upon bringing the data into GM no matter what options we choose it always displays the height in meters and instead of its actual units (US survey feet). Inside of geocalc when we try importing NAVD88 (US. survey feet) it says that its already in the database. We have tried everything we can think of and have no idea what else we can do to get GM to recognize our projection. Any ideas?
