error code 404

Hi all,

have been trying to download some SRTM data and I get the following:

Error downloading OSM Tile data tile
/datasets/SRTM90m_tiled/9/258/216.gmg
OSM Tile image query failed status code 404.

does that mean that the SRTM server is down? I think usually there is another error/warning in place with the SRTM info is not available.

Anyhow let me know if you know.

    I am having the same error message. I however did notice that Google maps has an issue the with specific area that im trying to download the SRTM data for. Could this be a reason why I'm having problems?

    Hello,

    We host two SRTM data sources:
    1. SRTM Worldwide Elevation Data (1-arc-second Resolution, SRTM Plus V3): should be working.
    2. SRTM Worldwide Elevation Data (3-arc-second Resolution): we are in the process of copying the data to a new server.  I will post again when the process is complete.
