Combining elevation modells with new flattening calculations

Hello.
It is rather frustrating with all steps there is to get a new elevation modell exported with new flattening parts.
First i have to make a combined minimum, then close flattenings that are building hight, then make another combined maximum elevation grid with the minimum as base.
Hopefully there was no flattening that both cut and build any elevation.

I wish there was a function that just made a new elevation grid based on whats visible on screen. That would save hours of rendering and headache.
