Exporting a shapefile does not export projection data.

When I export vector shapefile it does not export any projection data.  I am using Global Mapper v18

    If you have the "Generate Projection" box checked, and you are not getting a .prj file exported with your shapefile, then I recommend first getting the latest release of Global Mapper to see if the problem has already been fixed. If the problem persists in the latest release, then your best bet is to send an e-mail describing your workflow and the results (error message, etc.), with sample data that will reproduce the problem (workspace and your data being exported), to Blue Marble Geographics support (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com). This will ensure that the support team sees the problem and can provide a timely response. Thank you.
