possible to display point labels in 3D view version 18?

It's not working for me. Looks like there are settings under properties for this, but having no affect.

Sorry to say that we don't yet support text labels in 3D. We have an existing ticket #14503 for this feature, and we'll notify you back here when we've implemented it.
