Global Mapper v25.0

How do I save the HSV shader settings?

Hi There,
I'd like to re-use the HSV shader options configured for my map but on a different machine.  I've setup the map and the HSV shader using the sliders and I can adjust the sliders on the second machine so they look like they are the same but I've know way of knowing if they match exactly.

Is there a way to either export a file containing the HSV setup which can then be imported into the second machine. Or is there a way to get the numerical values of the Low Color Start, Value, Saturation and Range so I can manually set these to be the same?

Thanks for your help,
Deirdre

As far as I know there is no way to save an HSV setting. This would be a great option, either to save the HSV settings as part of the gmw file or better still, as Deirdre suggests, have an option to save it as a shader.

    Howdy,

You can get (and presumably, re-set) the values that the HSV shader is currently set to from the registry editor, but I don't know how you would re-set those from the UI, which doesn't show the value.  Maybe that would be a solution, to show and be able to enter exact values, in addition to having a slider.

Sounds like saving HSV settings should be added to GM Suggestion Box. http://forum.globalmapperforum.com/discussion/13815/saving-hsv-settings#latest

    Hello,

I have added feature request #20316 to our task list so we can evaluate adding the ability to more easily share HSV settings to a future version of Global Mapper.  We will post a message on this thread when the status of the feature request changes.

    Cheers,
    Bob
