Split Contours/DEM into tiles for work in smaller sections.

Can someone walk me through how to SPLIT contours, dem or even a point cloud into smaller tiles to work on smaller sections?

I have a large site file Say 2,00 acres and would like to split it into 10 acre parcels that are easier to work with. Whats the best way to do this??

    Hello,

    Use File | Export and choose the type of file you want to export.  On the subsequent Export Options dialog, use the Tiling tab to indicate how you want your data tiled.  This will produce a separate file for each output tile, and you can import the tiles back into Global Mapper to work with them.
