Total Distance / Straight Line Distance

When I calculate elevation-slope stats it gives me the total length of the line segment. My line feature has a number of curves and I want the straight line distance from the beginning of the line to the end of the line. Once I have the straight line distance I want to divide the total length / straight end to end length to calculate the lines sinuosity and add this as an attribute.
