Show Total Line Length on Map - On the fly display-

Hi

can you add a "Render total line length on map"  option on the Vector Display tab, under configuration?

There is a "render segment lengths in map" right now but it would be good if we had the option to choose between the two.

Also for both options, when line vertices are shuffled about it would be very nice if we were getting on the fly length measurements and not have to drop a vertex first and then wait for the lengths to be updated.
